Zegapain one of the most underrated mecha anime's to date, isn't perfect but it is good. Beautifully designed to tie in its psychological questioning on what it means to be alive and kick ass mecha fights for a solid one two punch. Not mainly focused on bringing insane visuals or intricate color designs to draw attention, Zegapain does bring a good consistent story that delivers great characters to bloom as the story progresses. I highly recommend this to anyone who is a childhood friend lover. 8.5/10
